Student support

‌As a BA (International Honours) student, you have access to the same facilities and services that are available to all other registered students of St Andrews.

BA (International Hons) support

The Global Office runs student consultation hours to questions you may have relating to the BA (International Honours) programme and your time in St Andrews. Current students can book an appointment with a member of the Global Office team or visit the Global Office during our office hours.

Accommodation

BA International Honours students are guaranteed University halls of residence accommodation for all four years provided that they apply by the annual accommodation deadlines.

Visas and immigration

You may need a visa to study in the USA or the UK, and may need to reapply for visas depending on where you decide to spend your third and fourth years.

WaMStA Student Partnership

The WaMStA Student Partnership is a student-founded and student-run society that has chapters at both St Andrews and William & Mary. Each chapter provides academic and social support. Several socials are held throughout each semester to introduce students of all degrees and years to each other. Additionally, each degree is represented on the board by an Honours student who is always available to meet with individual students seeking academic guidance.
