The Principal's Medal is awarded to students who display exceptional endeavour and achievement during their time at St Andrews.

The Proctor’s Award is awarded to students who make an extraordinary commitment to enhancing learning and teaching. The extraordinary commitment will have been recognised by both students and members of staff.

The Deans' List Award is awarded to undergraduate students who achieve an outstanding overall result in the course of the academic year and fulfil strict criteria.

Awarded to the most distinguished student in the Faculties of Arts and Science who has taken his or her degree during the year.

Awarded to the student in the Faculty of Arts who is proxime accessit to the winner of the Miller Prize (Arts).

Awarded to a graduating student for outstanding contribution to student drama.

Awarded for an outstanding student contribution to drama, first and foremost for achievement in design, stage management or production management.

Awarded to a student who has made an outstanding contribution to the musical life of the University, first and foremost in the field of musical drama.

This new prize has been established through the generous donation of monies received through the University of St Andrews American Foundation.  This prize, awarded each year, will be open to all current students and based around a particular theme for an original piece of creative work or essay.
