Pre-departure briefing
All students studying or working abroad (or in the UK) for credit will be required to attend a Study Abroad pre-departure briefing. This meeting is held in April each year and will provide students with essential information from the Global Office, Associate Deans and Insurance. Students will be notified of the details of the meeting via email.
For students studying or working abroad in 2025-26, the compulsory pre-departure session will take place on Monday 7 April.
The UK Work Placement briefing will take place on 1 April at 1pm.
Attendance at the pre-departure meeting is compulsory - students who do not attend and do not provide an adequate explanation as to why they cannot attend will have their permission to participate in their external programme withdrawn.
Pre-Departure Agreement
All outbound students are required to complete a Pre-Departure Agreement by 31 May. This can be done online via a MySaint task. Please see our documentation webpages for further details.
