How to apply
All students wishing to study abroad or to undertake a WIYA placement in Modern Languages, should complete the Outbound Study Abroad application form in MySaint. Please ensure you refer to the application guidance below before starting your application. You can complete the application form before you receive permission from your Study Abroad Coordinator(s).

Second round of St Andrews Abroad applications for 2025-26
We have a limited number of spaces remaining at the following universities for 2025-26:
- Australian National University
- Western University
- Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
- William & Mary
- Hong Kong University
- University of Richmond
- Purdue University
- Queen's University
All of these spaces will be for semester two only with the exception of Western which is a full year only exchange.
We are also pleased to announce the expansion of our exchange with the University of British Columbia to include Art History, English, History, International Relations and Philosophy.
To apply for one of these places, please complete the St Andrews Abroad Application Form 2025-26 (Word, 122 KB) and return it to studyabroad@st-andrews.ac.uk by Friday 21 February 2025. No late applications will be considered.
