Requesting a Withdrawal from your Studies
A withdrawal is when a student chooses to leave the University permanently. For example, some students may wish to transfer to a different institution or exit with an award based on the credits they have achieved to date.
It is not sufficient to inform your School or Student Services that you are not returning to your studies.
Registry (Support)
You should contact Registry to discuss your various options and the process.
Accommodation in Halls of Residence
Once your Withdrawal Application is confirmed you will have five working days to leave your Halls of Residence. For further information, please speak to the relevant Registry Officer (Support) or contact the Accommodation Office (accommodation@st-andrews.ac.uk).
