Scott Francis - McConnachie
Assistant Director, Halls Life and Wardennial Service
Scott joined the Student Services Directorate Team in 2022 as Assistant Director, supporting the work of the Halls Life and Wardennial Services teams.
Scott studied Management at the University of St Andrews and is a proud former resident of McIntosh Hall.
Coming from a customer focussed background, he has a particular passion for enhancing and supporting the student experience whilst creating an open and welcoming environment for colleagues.
Prior to joining Student Services, Scott worked in the Accommodation, Conferences and Events and the Business Transformation teams at the University, where he worked on projects such as Can Do (an initiative to support students and staff during covid so that they could attend and develop educational and extracurricular activities safely) and creating, developing, and implementing a Student Experience Strategy to offer all students, irrespective of mode or level of studies, the best possible experience.
