Research Modules: Introduction

MMS has a range of module types. One type: Research Modules, do not correspond to modules taught modules, but are used to administrate PGR students within a unit. As with regular modules tools may be added to a research module to increase functionality. One tool that comes as default with the Research module type is the Postgraduate administration tool.

The main differences between the Research Modules and taught modules are:

• Supervision groups
• Postgraduate Administration tool
  • Annual Progress Reports
  • Examining Committee Nominations
