Aims and Service
Our team aims to provide professional support and advice to all University Staff. The team has a variety of skills and experience within the HR remit and is equipped to deal with all employment and staffing matters. The team endeavours to ensure that the service provided is confidential, impartial and consistent. Some of our activities are listed below:
- Consultancy work with Schools/Units
- Advising on policies and procedures
- Developing policies in line with legislation
- Supporting managers and staff
- Grading, reward and conditions
- Immigration, Disclosure Scotland and Nationality Checks
- Workforce Planning
- Issuing Employment Verification letters
