Guidance for the use of Flexible Worker Assignments (Contract for Services)

Update

The flexible worker assignment letter (FWAL) document has been recently updated to include a table that should be used to identify the type(s) of work to be carried out in the assignment requested to remove any ambiguity that could arise with the previous free text version.  This ensures the work types remain generic and easy to match up to the relevant timesheet tabs for submission of hours. An email communicating this change was distributed on 7th August 2024 so all FWAL submissions for September payroll should be using this new document type.

Additionally, please note we will no longer accept handwritten details on documents other than the provision of signatures.

Below is a checklist which has been put together to assist with document submission.
