Academic and education-focused staff

CEED is here to support all staff who wish to develop their teaching, regardless of career stage or contract type.

  • Develop as a reflective practitioner and consider the design and delivery of teaching in depth via the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP), which provides a supportive, interdisciplinary community of practice.
  • Shorter ASDP teaching workshops on particular topics offer a less intensive option, and Education and Student Experience, SALTI and CHER also organise events.
  • Develop your skills in Technology Enhanced Learning
  • For external recognition of your skills in teaching or supporting student learning, CEED's Head of Educational Development can help you to apply for a category of HEA Fellowship.

The links below provide more information on all of these areas of support. We are here to help - please get in touch with any questions or suggestions!

The University of St Andrews is a subscribing member of Advance HE, which gives staff access to a wealth of teaching and learning resources, free webinars, funding opportunities and more.
